Lead Qualification in Seleqt helps you find buying signals and insights about your leads before outreach.
Instead of only storing contact data, Lead Qualification uses AI to research and analyze each lead or company, creating new columns with insights such as experience, funding, business model, or strategic focus.
Lead Qualification is part of the campaign flow and sits between Leads and Steps.
Every campaign in Seleqt follows this flow:
Leads – select who you want to target
Lead qualification – understand which leads are worth contacting and why
Steps – define outreach actions and messaging
Lead Qualification is optional, but highly recommended if you want better targeting and more personalized campaigns.
Lead Qualification actions can only be created from the Lead qualification tab.
Leads tab
Displays and runs qualification columns
Allows sorting and filtering
Does not allow creating new tasks
Lead qualification tab
Create new qualification columns
Run AI research tasks
Monitor research progress and results
This separation ensures qualification logic stays consistent and controlled.
Although both use AI, enrichment and qualification serve different purposes.
Enrichment fills missing factual data, such as:
Email addresses
Phone numbers
LinkedIn profile details
Company websites
Enrichment answers:
“What data is missing?”
Enrichment can be triggered from:
Leads tab
Lead qualification tab
Campaign steps
Lead Qualification focuses on research and interpretation, not data completion.
It answers questions like:
Does this company match my ICP?
What is the company’s business model?
Are there buying signals present?
Qualification answers:
“Is this lead worth contacting, and why?”
Each Lead Qualification column represents an AI research task.
A qualification task includes:
A name (used as the column name)
An AI instruction (what to research)
A result format (text, number, yes/no, score)
One or more research sources
A clear credit cost per lead
When a task runs, Seleqt researches each lead individually and fills the column with results.
While a task is running, you may see different states in the column:
Completed results – AI research finished successfully
Loading… – research is still in progress
Data not found – no reliable information could be identified
Results appear progressively and transparently. Seleqt does not guess or fabricate missing information.
Once results are available, qualification columns can be:
Sorted
Scanned visually
Used to prioritize or exclude leads
Referenced later when building campaign steps
This allows you to make smarter decisions before sending any outreach.
Both enrichment and qualification use credits.
Before running any task, Seleqt:
Shows the credit cost per lead
Calculates the total cost based on the number of leads
Allows running tasks on a small batch before scaling
This ensures full transparency and control.
